Parent University ( Quarter 1) TST 101

It is important for our scholars to understand stress management during their journey for success. Therefore, our Instructional Lead Teachers, Professional Guidance Counselor and intermediate grade teachers organized our first Parent University of the school year that focused on testing, testing anxiety and navigation through the Pearson curriculum. Parents explored the different kinds of testing in grades K-5, informed of different ways to support scholars on combating test anxiety in addition to receiving  a technology walk through on all of the resources that our scholars can use at home.  We had a great turn out and we are looking forward to our next Parent University workshop during the second quarter of the school year.
