Black History Month Celebration

During the month of February, CMIT North Elementary School engaged in various activities throughout the month. Staff prepared students to perform during grade level performances. Ms. Bautch and the Creative Arts team conducted an amazing performance with the chorus club, selected students and dance team.

We also had a wonderful performance hosted by the PTO as students learned about different African American folktales. Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated captivated our scholars in STEMazing activities. Additionally, our Pretty Brown Girls club hosted their annual vision board celebration where families of our young girls networked, fellowship and danced with one another.

Overall, all stakeholders at CMIT North Elementary School came together to show the strength in unity of our community members. When we all come together, greatness is provided for our scholars.
