CMIT Elementary Rocks @PGCPS Annual STEM Fair

The 25th Annual Kids for Science STEM Fair was held on May 16, at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. More than 400 PGCPS students in third through fifth grades showcased projects from one of the following STEM categories: animal sciences, chemistry, computer science/technology, earth science, engineering, environment sciences, mathematical sciences, physics and astronomy, and plant sciences.

Congratulations to all the students who represented CMIT Elementary School at the KIDS for Science STEM Fair.

* Alston Georges took home first place for fifth grade Astronomy and Physics and a host of other awards.

* Zion Barnett-Gay took home second place for Animal Science.

* Leah Meija took home second place prize for fourth grade environmental science.

* Sydney Wynn was awarded the Grand prize for overall fourth grade project and she received a host of other awards.

We are very proud of all our students who attended the fair.
